We are looking for a MEP Cadet or recently graduated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Brisbane Team! Our ideal candidate will have a keen interest in MEP services estimating and a positive approach to service delivery.
The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out and delivering both pre and post contract estimating duties, including but not limited to:

• Project estimates for the various phases of a project
• Cost control – planning, forecasting and estimation
• Value management associated with mechanical services
• Benchmarking analysis associated with mechanical services
• Post contract services, including assessment of progress claims and assessment of contract variations.

You have:

As our Ideal candidate you will possess

• 4th or 5th year university experience or a recent qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, construction economics, or property-related fields
• Keen interest in services estimating for construction projects
• A combination of strong estimating, technical skills and practical knowledge
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a project team
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
• Eligibility to work in Australia
