What's on offer?
The Cadet Site Manager role is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual wanting to progress to a Site Manager Role.
As a Cadet Site Manager, you will progress through our newly created 6-month Cadet program where you will receive personalised training and exposure to all aspects of the role and business. Once the Cadet program is completed, you will progress to a Site Manager and deliver the dream of home ownership by managing the construction of single and double story houses in order to ensure the houses built are of a high-quality workmanship and in accordance with the Australian Building Codes.
Training and future responsibilities include:

Training and real-life exposure to Stage 1 and 2 Site Manager roles, Warranties, Operations and Medium Density
Ride along training with a Regional Construction Manager for Leadership exposure
Buddy system and ride along training with a Senior stage 2 Site Manager
A high standard of paperwork
Onsite meetings
Report on job progress, status, costs, inefficiencies and future programs
Develop and maintain service provided by trades and suppliers
Ensure quality construction standards are met
Identify opportunities for reducing waste, extras and minimising errors
Promote and maintain safe work protocols at all times
Promote good work practises and quality control outcomes within trade base

You will be an enthusiastic and eager to learn individual who has a keen interest in construction and ambitions to become a Site Manager and create a career for life in the industry.
You will also have:

Can do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Passion and enthusiasm about working in the building industry
IT Savvy, having used Microsoft suite and other programs
An ability to develop professional relationships with colleagues and trades
Excellent active listening skills
