The purpose of the role is to oversee control room operations. Monitor CCTV and communicate with roving security officers to address issues relating to security breaches, alarms and other situations.

$27.88/hr. + super + shift penalties + allowance
24/7 Rotating roster

About the role

MSS Security is looking for security officers responsible for monitoring and managing the systems and equipment in a control room. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Monitoring security cameras and alarms to ensure the safety of the premises
Responding quickly to any security threats or incidents
Communicating with security personnel and emergency services as needed
Recording and reporting any unusual activity or breaches
Enforce procedural rules and regulations
Ensure the personal safety of staff, visitors, and property
Maintain security and safety for assigned area
Monitor CCTV, control room duties and access control

Skills & experience

Certificate II in Security Operations and Current First Aid certificate
NSW Security Licence
Ability to closely monitor multiple screens and detect any unusual activity or potential issues
Capable of making prompt and effective decisions in high-pressure situations
Ability to remain composed and focused during emergencies or stressful situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with security personnel and emergency services
