The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator provides support to the P&C team within their dedicated portfolio by delivering and overseeing high quality people-related activities throughout the employee lifecycle such as onboarding, internal mobility, retention, employee benefits, offboarding, people-related queries, maintaining people databases and systems and supporting state/national people projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience and contribute to our overall organisational effectiveness.

• Facilitating and managing the induction process for new starters
• Onboarding of new starters including issuing employment contracts, relevant new starter documentation and scheduling/facilitating inductions.
• Providing considered advice, assistance, and support to Managers on the management and administration of the onboarding process
• Working with the business on initiatives to attract and retain a diverse workforce, including indigenous and female candidates
• Providing support to the state People and Culture team on Award/EA interpretation, investigations, grievances, employee performance and employee relations matters as directed/required

• A qualification in HR or progressing towards
• Previous experience in high levels of onboarding and inductions
• Demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines and targets to meet the business objectives
• Excellent communication skills, both written/oral
• Fully proficient with MS Office Suite and demonstrated computer literacy.
