DevOps Environment Engineer

YOUR ROLE
In this role, you will offer technical support to the team in setting up and enforcing automated governance across IAG's environment landscape. You’ll evaluate current environment management and Dev Ops practices, suggest enhancements, and provide technical and process support to resolve issues in controlled settings.
Your main responsibilities will include analysing logs, triaging issues, conducting Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs), and developing run books for common problems. Additionally, you will create monitoring, reporting, and alerting systems for controlled environments to ensure faster detection and resolution of issues.
This permanent position is based in Sydney and offers a hybrid work model.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a motivated Dev Ops Environment Engineer who has some familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles and modern environment management practices. The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Experience with Container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling and repositories (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Git Hub)
- Experience with Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP including infrastructure-as-code tooling and environment management.
- Experience with modern SRE practices and tools like New Relic, Grafana.
- Experience with version control, development and engineering best practices.
- Experience building CI/CD solutions and automated governance built into SDLC.
- Worked in an Agile environment
