About the opportunity

Due to ongoing success and growth, we are seeking self-motivated and professional private/business bankers to join an already high performing team. As a Director in the VIC Ultra High Net Wealth Team, you will have proven complex lending experience, expert knowledge of ultra-high net worth client needs and an already established network of clients and referrers.


Additionally, you will:
  • Guide clients and business partners throughout their lending journey, with experiences and insights that are essential to developing authentic long-term relationships.
  • Build new client relationships and identify new business development opportunities by advocating for CBA and CBA products, including lending, banking and wealth.
  • Build your personal brand and network in the community to enhance your credibility.
  • Determine suitable lending solutions with prospective homebuyers and submitting lending applications.
  • Grow your business by building and maintaining external referral sources and seeking external referrals from existing customers.
  • Refer customers with more complex financial needs to specialists within the Group.
  • Research the broader market, and economic and industry changes affecting customers and the Group.
  • Share best practice, productivity ideas and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Private Banking team by inspiring, developing and growing colleagues.


About you

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Recent experience in a similar role from within Private Banking, Business/Commercial Banking or similar.
  • Experience in residential and commercial lending, including complex lending structures and the ability to interpret complex financials .
  • A demonstrated ability to develop new networks and maintain effective relationships with ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related field ( preferred).
  • RG146 ( preferred)
