WHERE YOU'LL BE WORKING

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.

The EN works under the guidance of Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council National Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse (EN) in collaboration with Registered Nurses (RN), multidisciplinary team and others to provide safe, compassionate, person centred care . The EN is responsible at all times for his/her actions and is accountable for delegated nursing care.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Has current enrolment with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an EN with medication endorsement, including oral and intravenous competencies.
Has demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Has demonstrated the ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups.
