Our Enterprise Architecture (EA) Teams focus on defining the target state architectures to deliver on the strategic business and technology outcomes.

We set the technology direction of the group, and work with the business to develop the roadmap on how the target state architectures are to be delivered.

We support teams by providing high-level architectural guidance and guiderails against which detailed design of solutions can be assessed. And we work with representatives from our customer-facing and IT Operations Teams to ensure closed-loop learnings on the implemented architectures.

This role is within the channels domain and reports into the Principal Enterprise Architect for Customer Channels, Retail Banking Services.

However, it will involve supporting channels used by other segments such as Business Banking.

In this role

You will be responsible for engaging, supporting and guiding senior stakeholders and delivery team leads across multiple segments and channels.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Leading in the implementation of EA strategies and best practices to support business objectives, while focusing on business process design, solutions, information gathering and technology utilization
• Defining technical service capabilities, design attributes, draft enterprise profiles and segment architecture; controlling risks and solving complex issues related to EA
• Validating solution architecture against Reference Architecture
• Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, addressing stakeholder requirements and providing client consultation to shape the future success of EA
• Providing EA support by directing teams in baseline, target and roadmap development, transition planning, system and security management and segment architecture

We're interested in hearing from people who have

• Experience within the IT Industry/financial services or in business consulting
• Experience across multiple Architecture domains, including the implementation of Architecture in various large organisations
• Experience in strategy development or consulting across a large and diverse set of stakeholders
• Experience in juggling competing priorities and self-managing tasks with minimal guidance
• Experience with data and analytical driven decision-making using EA repositories and dashboards
• Experience with self-service and assisted channels, such as digital, API, branch, messaging and call-centre
• Experience in channel concepts, technologies and knowledge of key dependencies such as security, product, customer and payments.
• Expert in development and adoption of Services Based business architectures, integration solutions and patterns

Desirable:

• Knowledge of BIAN industry model standard
• Experience with Bizz Design or equivalent EA applications
• Application of AI and Gen AI within self-service and assisted channel use cases
• Familiarity with call centre and agent messaging technologies and implementations
