About the opportunity

Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic physiotherapy team and provide clinical care and leadership in the Pelvic Health stream at the Mercy Hospital for Women. This position is an integral member of the senior physiotherapy team ensuring the delivery of high quality , person-centred and effective patient care. This position has a strong emphasis on supporting quality improvement and actively contributes to clinical education of staff and patients.
Grade 3 Physiotherapist, part-time fixed-term position (parental leave), 32 hours/fortnight, commencing December 2024
Provides physiotherapy service to outpatients of the Mercy Hospital for Women and supports the development of the junior physiotherapy workforce
Opportunity to be trained as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (Pelvic Health)
Is an integral part of the multi-disciplinary teams of the hospital and will be required to provide highly responsive and flexible services to consumers whilst upholding a high level of professionalism and practicing within the core values of Mercy Health

To thrive in this role, you will have:

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
A recognised Degree in Physiotherapy and current, full physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
Previous experience in Women's Health Physiotherapy
Post- graduate qualifications in the area of Women's Health Physiotherapy

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
