GrainCorp
Harvest Grower Services Rep, Casual | Tamworth, NSW
Tamworth
CONTRACT
August 29, 2024
About our team
As the largest grain storage and handling network on the east coast of Australia, we operate more than 150 regional receival sites and seven bulk port terminals. We store and market wheat, barley, canola, sorghum and specialty commodities, connecting over 10,000 growers with more than 1,000 end-market customers across the food, beverage, edible oils and animal feed industries. Our people can be proud of the increasingly important essential service we provide across the food supply chain.
About the role
We’re seeking a Harvest Grower Services Representative to join our Tamworth office, on a casual basis.
As the first point of contact for our dedicated Grower Hotline, you will be responsible for directing and managing all enquiries / requests and servicing our customers in a timely and accurate manner. You’ll learn everything there is to know about how we manage enquiries from our grower customers, including all aspects of grain stock and contract management, whilst working across multiple systems to ensure growers are serviced accurately and efficiently.
As the face of our operations, you have the opportunity to make a real impact on the quality of service we provide to growers, customers and the community.
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has at least completed their HSC, with experience gained in an administrative or customer service-related function. You’re passionate about delivering a consistently exceptional level of service to customers, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In addition to above average skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, you’re unafraid of learning new systems and technologies.
Finally, your willingness to be flexible to take on additional activities and support outside of standard working hours (typically around our annual harvest period) will be appreciated.
Progressed candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and identification.
