Laboratory Assistant (Seasonal) - Ingham QLD

The position will suit someone who is self-motivated and doesn't require close supervision. Previous related experience is preferred but not essential. This position follows a continuous shift 4/5 Lifestyle Roster working 12hr shifts; Day Shift hours are 6am - 6pm and Night Shift hours are 6pm - 6am.
This role is primarily responsible for collection and preparation of cane juice samples for cane payment purposes. This position is also responsible for performing checks on laboratory equipment and systems, cleaning, and maintaining records.

About the Business
With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol and sustainable agricultural products.
To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months.
