September 19, 2024

At Pw C, our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems for our clients. We achieve this through a leading culture defined by unbounded curiosity, one firm collaboration, and constructive challenge.

Our Human Resources Operations Advisory (HROA) team comprises experienced HR professionals who provide advisory services to Pw C clients. We offer specialist advice and practical support to optimise business performance, enabled by HR leading practice. We help businesses maximise the value of their HR function, manage workforce risk and compliance, optimise their workforce, and develop strong leadership capability and workplace cultures. As part of the wider Workforce team, we collaborate with adjacent teams to bring a comprehensive offering to market across all aspects of HR optimisation and workforce management.

Our team is expanding, and we’re looking for a Manager to help drive the delivery of HROA services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a HR Project role, or have previous consulting experience in a Big 4 or professional services environment. They will have experience working on HR transformation or HRIS implementation projects, possess strong project management and change management skills, a client service mindset and be energised by the opportunity to deliver solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities at the Manager level include:
  • Project manage client engagements, including progress reporting, regular client meetings, and ensuring compliance with internal risk and quality requirements.
  • Develop client deliverables, including preparation of recommendations, reports, and presentations.
  • Build deep relationships with our clients by leading teams to deliver high-quality project work.
  • Design and deliver stakeholder engagement and consultation processes, including surveys, workshop materials, and facilitating interviews and focus groups.
  • Use analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) to draw out actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team through on-the-job coaching and support.
  • Contribute to HROA intellectual capital, methodologies, and approaches.
  • Conduct research on emerging workforce and HR trends and issues to frame business development activities and thought-leadership pieces.
  • Maintain an awareness of workforce legislation, regulation, and trends and a focus on your own professional development.

Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, HR, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working on HR transformation or HRIS implementation projects with a demonstrated ability to lead HR projects and teams.
  • Ability to proactively problem-solve and develop creative and engaging solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey meaningful insights, influence stakeholders, and build trust with clients.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capability (quantitative and qualitative), including the ability to synthesise information and simplify complex content.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships and professional networks both internally and externally.
  • A desire to coach, mentor, and invest in the development of others.
  • Most importantly, act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.

If you love challenges, solving problems, helping clients succeed, have the ambition to develop your career in a meaningful way, we encourage you to apply. In return, the benefits we offer include:
  • Clearly articulated career path and opportunities for growth.
  • Learn and grow with our internal Academy and study support.
  • Strong mentors, meaningful work, and plenty of networking opportunities.
  • Competitive and transparent salary packages with the opportunity for yearly bonuses.
  • Highly flexible working environment to manage work-life balance.
  • Overseas secondment opportunities and our Together Anywhere policy allowing up to 4 weeks of work from anywhere in Australia.
  • Prioritisation of new families with 26 weeks of parental leave.

We're an inclusive bunch, and we try to make life easier for our clients, teams, and communities. If you need reasonable adjustments when applying, just let us know.
