Are you a friendly and enthusiastic individual looking for a rewarding career in healthcare? We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Medical Receptionist on a permanent, full-time basis.
This position offers 76 hours per fortnight, with working hours between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate may be required to work at both the Berwick Skin Cancer Centre and the Officer Skin Cancer Centre.
As a medical receptionist in our practice, you will be responsible for:
- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Managing phone and email queries
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required
- Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
- A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
- Approachable, reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
- Previous experience in administrative/reception roles
- Experience using Best Practice is advantageous
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
