Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric dataflows developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves transitioning data pipelines/ workflows from Alteryx to Microsoft Fabric Dataflows / Power Query. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions. Experience with Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx is also highly desirable in order to analyse the current state solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Power BI Expertise:
  • Design and develop Microsoft Fabric Dataflows migrating from existing Alteryx workflows
  • Optimize the solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Integrate the solutions with other components of the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem including Power BI
• Technical Leadership:
  • Design and development of data solutions using mostly Fabric Dataflows and Power BI.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in data management, visualization, and reporting.

Let’s talk about your capability and experience

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience and Technical skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role developing Data Flows, Power Query or other data engineering pipelines.
  • Extensive experience with Power Query development.
  • Proficient in data modelling, ETL processes, SQL and DAX, with relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and data visualisations.
  • Preferably experience with cloud platforms like Azure and Fabric
  • Tableau and Alteryx experience desirable.
  • Knowledge of additional BI tools and programming languages is advantageous.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
