Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric dataflows developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves transitioning data pipelines/ workflows from Alteryx to Microsoft Fabric Dataflows / Power Query. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions. Experience with Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx is also highly desirable in order to analyse the current state solution.

Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric dataflows developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves transitioning data pipelines/ workflows from Alteryx to Microsoft Fabric Dataflows / Power Query. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions. Experience with Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx is also highly desirable in order to analyse the current state solution.
Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Expertise:
- Design and develop Microsoft Fabric Dataflows migrating from existing Alteryx workflows
- Optimize the solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Integrate the solutions with other components of the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem including Power BI

Technical Leadership:
- Design and development of data solutions using mostly Fabric Dataflows and Power BI.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in data management, visualization, and reporting.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience and Technical skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role developing Data Flows, Power Query or other data engineering pipelines.
- Extensive experience with Power Query development.
- Proficient in data modelling, ETL processes, SQL and DAX, with relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI and data visualisations.
- Preferably experience with cloud platforms like Azure and Fabric
- Tableau and Alteryx experience desirable.
- Knowledge of additional BI tools and programming languages is advantageous.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
