Monitoring Operator
(Customer Service role)
We are looking for Monitoring Operators/Contact Centre Operators to join our Rydalmere (Sydney) team.
The role is located in Rydalmere, which is part of the Parramatta council area of Sydney. With free parking on site and a short bus ride away from Parramatta train station, it is an ideal location to work.

About the Role
This role will be responsible for contacting customers when their security alarm activates. You will need to ascertain whether assistance is required, liaise with a range of stakeholders including but limited to: Security Guards, Patrol companies, Facility Managers, customers and the Police. Candidates must be able to:
- Work in a fast-paced Control Room role actioning security alarm events and calls Â
- Multitask across a high level of prioritized alarm events and inbound calls.
- Liaise with emergency services, security patrols and a diverse range of clients.
- Work a rotating 24/7 roster.
This is an award-based role (Security Services Industry Award) with multiple rosters to suit operational needs and personal preferences. Shift patterns are based around our 4 on 4 off core teams (12 hour shifts of 2 days, 2 nights), complimented by our supplementary rosters during peak periods. Projected earnings on our rosters are between $72000-$82000 working less than 180 days of the year.
About You
- Strong customer service background, ideally in a contact centre environment
- Experience with call centre and/or inbound outbound phone calls.
- Experience with shift work (preferred but not mandatory).
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Resident
- Team Player
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy
- Calm mannered, high attention to detail and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Career focused professional.
- Able to work shift work (12 hour shifts of 2 days, 2 nights , 4 days on, 4 days off)
- Able to work in a contact centre environment
- Able to hold or attain a NSW 1E Security License, Criminal History Police clearance and attend a Pre-Employment Medical.
