Canterbury Hospital works closely with other hospitals and services such as Sydney District Nursing, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital to meet the health needs of people in our district.

The Opportunity

Provide senior clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff. This exciting permanent part-time position requires working in a busy post-acute Hand Therapy Service and as part of an MDT Hand Clinic. This position is responsible for referral triage and prioritisation, providing hand therapy interventions, leading best practice and quality improvement.

The Ideal Candidate will have...

Bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation
The ability to work flexible hours and holds a current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
