About the Role


Reporting to the Patient Account Services Team Leader, this role provides high quality, accurate and efficient accounts and administration services to Jones Radiology's external stakeholders, and internal clerical and technical staff.


The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that exceptional, high-quality services are provided to our patients, referrers and third-party bill payers. As a vital member of the team, you will enjoy providing professional, caring, and friendly customer support to our clients and their communities.


Key Responsibilities

• provides a high standard of customer service to patients and referrers
• builds strong and cooperative relationships with referrers and third-party bill payers
• answers the main enquiry phone number for Jones Radiology
• answers patient and third-party bill payers account enquiries via phone and email
• processes daily post, receipting and bank statement reconciliation
• maintains patient files in a timely and confidential manner
• ensures aged debtors are followed-up regularly in a professional manner

About You

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Experience in a fast-paced, transaction accounts team and/or customer service environment (desirable)
• Medicare and medical imaging terminology and procedure knowledge (desirable)
