About the Team
The RDO People & Culture (P&C) team are a key group within the business operations. We are collaborative, supportive and are developing, primarily tasked with partnering with leaders across our Branch operations from the Northern Territory to Tasmania, Support Office locations and our Head office in Brisbane. Not one day is ever the same!
The primary aspects of the P&C team include – provision of tailored advice and coaching on performance and conduct matters, investigating grievances, risk mitigation and compliance, contributing to the development of leaders, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
This full-time role is based at our Toowoomba Support Office however there will be a need to travel to various sites as required to support our people leaders working in the field.
Our P&C Business Partner will oversee a set portfolio and partner with the business to ensure all matters arising in their portfolio, are prioritised and attended to in a timely manner.
About You
We’re seeking a suitably skilled and motivated professional with a track record of success to join our team.
With a passion for high quality delivery of advice, developing others and impacting organisational culture, you’ll have exceptional communication skills, superior emotional intelligence, initiative, drive, and influencing skills, along with a passion for supporting people and delivering tailored expert advice.
Whilst you will be given all the support you need to be successful, our ideal candidate for this role will be sufficiently experienced to hit the ground running and will be comfortable working with people managers that have a diverse range of needs and priorities.
The successful applicant will have the following:

Demonstrated experience as a human resources generalist, with a deep knowledge and capability in the employee relations space with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience preferred.

A proactive approach to work with the self-motivation and drive to achieve, backed-up with grit and resilience to see tasks through to completion.

Sound ability to interpret legislation and to provide advice.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Highly organised and with an attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.

The ability and confidence to influence colleagues and the decisions of senior stakeholders.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial or other service-based industries ideal but not essential.
