Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Briefing Officer to join the Office of the Chief Executive on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:

• Providing concise, high-quality written materials including briefings and responses to correspondence from various sources and summary documents
• Developing and implementing knowledge of DCP practices and functions, along with analysing relevant policies
• Collecting and coordinating necessary information to prepare responses for Ministerial and DCP Executive correspondence and enquiries
• Conducting thorough research on departmental matters and casework issues through effective utilisation of the C3MS system.

About You
We are looking for a confident individual who can analyse complex information, conceptualise issues and develop practical solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to provide strategic advice to senior management and the Minister, demonstrating high-level writing skills to produce quality briefings.
You will have the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, promoting cooperation and trust.
If you can work effectively under broad direction, manage conflicting priorities and deliver quality outcomes within set timeframes, then this may be the ideal role for you.
