Senior Business Analyst

A bit about your role

You will play a pivotal role in leading the development and analysis of detailed, user-centric business requirements and providing handover and support to the delivery team in the implementation of nbn’s capabilities. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing data, and providing strategic insights to enhance decision-making. The key responsibilities include analysing project and performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and developing reports and dashboards. Additionally, you will lead or assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of business projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, budget, and time.

You will conduct research and benchmarking on best practices, analyse business processes, and propose strategic solutions to enhance business performance. This role requires establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and relevant information, and supporting the implementation of business improvement and innovation solutions. You will also provide leadership to Business Analysts, ensuring overall program oversight and alignment with business objectives.

A bit about you

You will have several years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power Point, is essential. You should have strong experience with data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or R, and a solid understanding of business improvement and innovation methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.

Your excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, are crucial, as are strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. A Project Management Qualification will enable success, and a strong background in Nokia’s SMP platform is preferred.
