• Previous experience in applying traditional actuarial/technical pricing methods for general insurance classes
• Some previous knowledge and experience in the general insurance industry, ideally in pricing and/or commercial insurance
• Proficient in programming with analytical software such as SAS, R, Python, VBA and SQL
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present and discuss complex information, analysis and findings to technical and non-technical audiences, using data visualisation as appropriate
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Tertiary qualification in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other relevant technical disciplines
