Senior Project Officer (HEO 7)

- Full-time, continuing position
- Commencement salary: $96,696 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About You
You are a skilled communicator with the ability to develop and maintain strong networks and working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You have highly developed negotiation skills and a proven ability to collaborate with others to achieve outcomes. Your written communication skills are advanced, and you will have experience in writing and reviewing reports, briefings and discussion papers.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide a broad range of high level project and operational functions related to the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research and Enterprise (DVC:RE). You will prepare submissions, presentations, briefings, discussion papers and reports on behalf of the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research and Enterprise (DVC:RE) Office and Portfolio in response to a range of requests from internal and external offices/agencies. You will provide high-level support in delivering strategic initiatives by developing and documenting evidence-based implementable plans.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a field relevant to the operations of the Portfolio and experience, or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to write complex reports, business cases and other documents both for internal and external audiences Highly developed critical thinking, conceptual and analytic skills and experience in undertaking quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
- Demonstrated experience in using data as a basis for preparing presentations, written reports and recommendations for senior staff
- Demonstrated ability to undertake complex projects with a high degree of autonomy
- Highly developed negotiation skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with others to achieve outcomes
