Your Impact and Contribution

As a Snr Staff Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our multi-cloud strategy, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud environments. You will play a key role in automating processes, enhancing security through Dev Sec Ops practices, deploying monitoring tools, and maintaining high-quality documentation to ensure our infrastructure remains robust, resilient, and reliable.

As part of the Database crew, you'll work with a highly skilled team of engineers, and collaborate in an environment that fosters innovation and upholds engineering excellence. In this solution focused team, you will contribute to the ongoing delivery of world-class outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of infrastructure-as-code (Ia C) solutions, automating operational tasks to increase platform availability, stability and operational efficiency.
• Influence and advocate for Dev Sec Ops practices, integrating security into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain monitoring and alerting tools to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability through the implementation of SRE practices.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures, ensuring consistency and facilitating knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipelines, platform, and applications.
• Stay current with industry trends, leveraging latest technologies to continuously improve our platform architecture and operations.
• Actively contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and development.

Key Skills and Experience

• Demonstrably skilled in programming and delivering quality, highly scalable infrastructure environments with languages such as (e.g Python, Bash Go).
• Tenured experience as a Snr Staff Platform Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on managing private cloud environments (e.g., VMware, Open Stack, Nutanix).
• In-depth knowledge of Dev Sec Ops principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Ia C), and security automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong background in deploying and managing monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Splunk) to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
