Staff Development Officer

- Develop and facilitate the delivery of education and training to QPS personnel.
- Liaise with other training professionals in the development of strategies to identify and address the training needs of QPS personnel.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, coordination and review of training programs required by the Queensland Police Service to enhance the skills and knowledge of QPS personnel.
- Conduct continuing research into and maintain an up to date knowledge of, subject matter and academic requirements relating to the area.
- Contribute to the planning, co-ordination, project work, curriculum development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of training for QPS personnel.
- Possession of a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and/or qualifications deemed equivalent will be considered favourably.
- Position is currently located at the Leadership Centre, Wacol Campus.
- Due to geographical nature of the QPS you may be required to travel intrastate to facilitate training.
- The successful applicant may be required to perform duty within any program/branch of the People Capability Command.
