About the role
We are seeking a Superintendent Forecasting Parameters to lead the Quarterly Forecasting Parameter Process and support the overall development of the Quarterly Forecast. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a high level of attention to detail, demonstrated presentation and communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities in complex, dynamic and challenging situations. Leading an experienced team, you will gain extensive knowledge about our complex operating system.
Reporting directly to the Manager Forecasting, you will be responsible for :
- Leading the end-to-end delivery and facilitation of the system wide Quarterly Forecasting Parameter Process
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Leading and developing a close-knit team of Specialist Analysts in the Perth Operations Centre
- Developing tools to identify and articulate key system performance and opportunities for system improvement
- Required to undertake irregular site travel as required.
- Experience in analysing large, complex data sets
- Ability to utilise various analytical tools
- Strong stakeholder relationship management, including influencing, communication, collaboration and conflict resolution skills
- Deep technical understanding and experience in the Iron Ore supply chain (Mine, Rail, Port), planning processes and asset capacity calculations.

This role will be offered on 5 days on, 2 days off roster in our Operations Centre based office, near the Perth airport.
