Talent Connector - Creators & Influencers

Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sport’s governing bodies, entertainment and sports rights-holder, and media production houses in Asia-Pacific and employs passionate people from various fields. Tennis Australia is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Talent Connector – Influencers & Creators to join our team to further bolster our year-round influencer and creator strategy. In this role, you’ll be integral in identifying and collaborating with influencers and content creators to amplify the awareness of tennis across Australia, as well as our key tournaments.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Content Strategy and Operations;
  • Research and identify influencers and content creators who align with Tennis Australia, the Australian Open (and lead-in events) brand and goals
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential influencers and creators to engage with
  • Initiate and build relationships with influencers and creators, ensuring a mutual understanding of collaboration goals
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, PR and Content teams to develop influencer and creator campaigns that drive awareness and engagement for tennis in Australia, the Australian Open and lead-in tournaments
  • Lead influencer and creator engagement efforts for major tennis events, including the Australian Open, Brisbane International, Adelaide International, Hobart International, and the United Cup Foster long-term relationships with influencers and creators, encouraging ongoing collaboration and advocacy for tennis
  • Other duties as requested or required by Management
About you
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Proven experience in influencer marketing, talent management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms Instagram (incl. Stories, Reels and Broadcast), Facebook, Threads, X, Tik Tok, You Tube)
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Paid social media experience, running paid ads (to promote content) across META channels (Facebook and Instagram), X and/or Tik Tok
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment and team to achieve strong performance
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work irregular hours during tournaments
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
