Anglicare is committed to creating significant impact and we are seeking a passionate and experienced e PMO Manager to join our team. As a SME, you will play a crucial role in managing the portfolio lifecycle, ensuring projects align with Anglicare’s strategy, and tracking the delivery of key business outcomes.
Your role will be dynamic and engaging, involving a wide range of stakeholders. You will excel in facilitating workshops and setting portfolio leads up for success. Your expertise in navigating diverse processes and managing various portfolio complexities will be essential. You will champion governance practices, effectively communicate the ‘why’ and engage senior stakeholders throughout the process.

About You:
We are seeking a strategic thinker with a high level of emotional intelligence and solid communication skills. Your ability to adapt and lead change, even in ambiguous situations, will be crucial. Building relationships and influencing stakeholders from varied backgrounds (sometimes, non-project) is key, and a people-centric approach will help you succeed in this role.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Expertise in business-led portfolio management.
  • Experience in an e PMO or Transformation environment.
  • Proven track record in portfolio prioritisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance portfolio management capability.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management tools and demand planning.
  • Skills in identifying efficiencies and implementing improved workflows.
  • Excellent reporting skills to inform decision-making through insights.
  • A growth mindset with the ability to inspire others to optimise business outcomes.
  • Positive, inclusive, and innovative thinker.
  • Deep understanding of project delivery tools and templates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in developing and adopting governance standards and tools.
  • Align strategy with action by engaging and inspiring the organisation through compelling storytelling that links initiatives and strategic goals.
  • Implement and oversee organization-wide benefits tracking.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues impacting portfolio governance and controls.
  • Assist in preparing and administering portfolio-related meetings and executive documents.
  • Enhance efficiency by standardising, simplifying, or automating workflows and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and optimize performance reporting across the organisation.
  • Lead efforts to improve reporting processes, including advancements in process and technology.

As Transformation Manager, you will be a key driver in our organisation's portfolio management efforts, reporting directly to the Head of Transformation. You will be instrumental in advancing, and leading portfolio management across the organization, enhancing portfolio-wide delivery, maximising the realisation of project and program benefits. Your expertise in portfolio management methodology, prioritisation principles, program governance, demand management will be vital to fostering organisational maturity and success.
