Brimbank City Council requires an experienced Waste Side Loader driver for immediate start.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent Waste Services Driver to join our team.


The role
As a member of the Waste Services Unit, the multi skilled Waste Services Driver’s purpose is to undertake any one of the 3 services of domestic garbage, recycling or green waste collection, in accordance with an approved program and Council’s Policies and Procedures, ensuring the service meets a high level of customer satisfaction.


To be considered you will have:

• Experience working as an operator of a waste vehicle.
• Ability to work in accordance with our values and behaviours.
• Qualifications and experience.
• Demonstrated recent experience in driving and operating a side loading waste compactor collection vehicle.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver the position’s key responsibilities and duties.
• Knowledge of Victorian road regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in adhering to OHS Policies & Procedures and Quality Procedures.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team environment and individually with limited supervision.
• Physical Fitness.
