We are currently seeking a 2 year Fixed Term Full Time staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.


The role


Reporting to the Application Support Team Lead, we are seeking Drupal Developers who can bring their skills and experience for the betterment of the Council

Technical Skills Required

• Proficient in PHP, CSS, HTML, Javascript, MYSQL, Drupal
• Optimizing Drupal websites for performance and security
• Troubleshooting Drupal Website Issues
• Good Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced site building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal Modules, themes, views and permissions.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining functional and technical specifications which also includes technical design documents
• Experience in version control processes
• Acts as a touchpoint for internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in integrating Drupal with 3rd party services and APIs like Payment system, document management/records management systems etc.
• Current knowledge of web standards, digital service design best practice, key trends and useability issues.

To be considered you will have:

• Local government experience is desirable
• Relevant Diploma/Undergraduate degree and experience, or extensive relevant IT, Computer Science, Web Programming experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education or training.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and using records management tools: e.g., Content Manager - CM9/Share Point
• At least 5+ years of practical experience in Web development (Drupal Environment)
Demonstrated experience in designing, programming, testing, upgrading websites according to specification.
