About the Role:
The Wildlife Keeper contributes to the delivery of animal management services by assisting in the care of the park's wildlife displays, assists as required with on park breeding programs, guided tours and presentations, cleaning and maintaining enclosures, preparing animal feed and the enhancement of visitor activities and education programs.

Ongoing and Term positions available
Special Conditions:
- Will be required to participate in fire protection and response or associated duties.
- Some out of hours work may be required including weekends and public holidays.
- Incumbent is required to wear a departmental uniform.
- Current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.

Demonstrates ability to work alone and be self-reliant.
This role has functions pertaining to working with children and is prescribed under the Child Safety (Prohibited Person) Act 2016 as requiring a Working With Children Check (WWCC). By applying for this role you consent to being screened for appropriate behaviour and to the Department obtaining, or requiring you to obtain a WWCC.
GSE2 $1,084.00 min - $1,095.10 max p.a., pro rata for part time hours. Weekly Paid.
