The Director of Supply Chain will face the challenge of transforming our supply chain operations into a highly efficient, fully automated system that sets new industry benchmarks. Central to this role is the ability to standardise processes across diverse markets, moving from current inconsistencies to a cohesive, "lights-off" supply chain requiring minimal human intervention. While customer satisfaction through consistent product availability is a primary goal, this must be balanced with enhancing productivity and operational efficiency.

The leader must implement cutting-edge technology and innovative strategies that reduce stock levels, minimise shrinkage, and improve throughput. Additionally, adopting a forward-thinking, end-to-end approach—including central warehouse strategies and advanced data analytics—will be key to boosting both productivity and reliability. Success in this role will mean achieving exceptional efficiency that supports the continued growth and scalability of Rohlik Group’s operations.

The position can be performed from Prague, Budpaest, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt or Vienna.

Your responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive, standardised supply chain strategy across Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, and Romania, ensuring scalability for future markets, and lead the execution of supply chain operations in alignment with this strategy
Drive the transformation towards a fully automated, "lights-off" supply chain by integrating advanced technologies and data-driven solutions
Ensure optimal product availability, inventory management and shrinkage, balancing efficiency with cost-effectiveness
Oversee the design and execution of training programs to equip teams with the necessary skills for advanced supply chain management and adaptability
Monitor supply chain performance through continuous data analysis, implementing adjustments to maintain high standards and adaptability as market conditions evolve

Your experience

Proven capability in managing or significantly contributing to complex operational projects, with an emphasis on supply chain or logistics; adaptable candidates with strong strategic thinking from related fields are welcome
Demonstrated expertise in using technology and data analytics to streamline operations and enhance automation
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to envision end-to-end processes and innovate solutions for optimisation
Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and align various market strategies under a cohesive vision
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus
Background in developing and integrating automated solutions or implementing large-scale logistics technology is beneficial but not mandatory
