Position: Data Engineer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type: Hybrid (2-3 days on-site at the client’s office)
Languages: Dutch or French + English
Candidates must already reside in the European Union and possess an EU Passport/Work Permit in a European Union country (mandatory).
Technical and Soft Skills:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our company’s data-related initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with Python for data.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., My SQL, Postgre SQL).
- Previous exposure to REST and SOAP APIs (for Data Pipelines / ETL).
- Experience with Git & CI/CD (multi-branch approach).
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
