• Critically and accurately preparing rolling forecasts, bottom-up budgets, and Long-Term Plans, while guiding the team, the business, and other departments.
• Regular closing and reporting activities regarding MPO (audience: business, CFO, CEO Be Ne Last Mile, Investor Relations, ad hoc focus topics). This also increasingly involves monitoring relevant operational cost drivers.
• Preparing major investment decisions for the CEO/CFO and following up on them post-implementation.
• Reporting and tracking overhead FTEs.
• Calculating and charging COGS or intercompany transfers to other bpost entities.
• Creating added value for the team, including by further automating closing/reporting activities (RPA, Power BI…).
• Extensive partnering with other departments within Finance (AP, ordering & accounting), MPO (manager and N-x), and beyond (Real Estate, HR, Procurement, Project Management Office…).

• The ideal Finance Manager has at least 8 years of experience, can handle complexity well, and prioritizes facts and figures. Previous experience in logistics or a people-driven business is definitely an asset.
• Knowledge of both national languages is essential.
• Practical experience with Oracle Fusion/EPM (or similar) and Power BI is required.
• Travel to major operational sites within Belgium is possible but limited. The headquarters is located in Brussels, but there is a WFH policy.
