GROUP TREASURER (LIEGE - BELGIUM)

THE SCOPE

As part of its sustained growth, GAMING1 is looking for a Group Treasurer to join our dynamic Finance team.
This pivotal role will involve overseeing the company's global treasury functions, ensuring effective management of cash flows, intercompany loans, and external debt. You will report directly to the Finance Director and lead a team comprising a Treasury Analyst and a Treasury Officer. The main objective of this position is to optimize the company's financial resources, ensuring liquidity, managing financial risks, and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners and rating agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of treasury systems, and the ability to navigate complex financial environments with precision and integrity.

This pivotal role will involve overseeing the company's global treasury functions, ensuring effective management of cash flows, intercompany loans, and external debt. You will report directly to the Finance Director and lead a team comprising a Treasury Analyst and a Treasury Officer. The main objective of this position is to optimize the company's financial resources, ensuring liquidity, managing financial risks, and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners and rating agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of treasury systems, and the ability to navigate complex financial environments with precision and integrity.
YOUR ROLE
- Daily Cash Management: Oversee daily cash flows to ensure liquidity and optimize cash balances across the group.
- Bank Connectivity and Payments: Manage bank connectivity via Swift AL2, ensuring secure and efficient processing of payments.
- TMS Management (Kyriba): Lead the administration of the Kyriba system for cash management, intercompany loans, and bank statement integration with the group’s ERP.
- In-House Bank Management: Oversee the operations of the in-house bank, including the management of intercompany loan portfolios.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies for interest rate and foreign exchange (FX) hedging to manage financial risks.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to reporting requirements, covenants of external debt, and transfer pricing policies related to intercompany lending.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with banks and rating agencies to support the group’s financial strategy.

- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, or Treasury & Finance.
- At least 7 years in treasury, focusing on cash management and financial risk.
- Advanced Kyriba knowledge, proficiency in Swift Alliance Lite 2, experience with cash pooling, and strong IT skills.
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Proactive, team-oriented, with strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and adaptable with a high level of integrity and discretion.
