International Payments Support Specialist- Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support international payment applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal disruption to operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related incidents, liaising with technical teams for prompt fixes.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and suggest preventive measures and improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (business, IT, infrastructure) to address application incidents, changes, and requests.
- Handle escalations from business users, providing guidance and status updates on production issues.
- Support system upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth transitions.
- Document issues and solutions in support logs and knowledge bases to ensure knowledge sharing with team members.
- Work in shifts (if required) to provide 24/7 support depending on business needs.
- Experience in application support, particularly in financial services or payments (preferably international payment systems).
- Strong knowledge of payment flows, SWIFT, SEPA, and other global payment standards.
- Familiarity with incident management tools such as [*****], Service Now, and Jira.
- Basic understanding of SQL, Unix/Linux systems, and scripting for troubleshooting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex application issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Experience working with global teams across different time zones.
Fluency in English and Dutch/ French is mandatory.
