Position: Java Architect - Dutch Speaker
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type: Full Time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1-2 day per week on-site)
Language: Fluent in Dutch + English (at least C1)

We are looking for an experienced Java Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, cloud platforms, and security-focused architectures. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure solutions using Azure, Azure Dev Ops, and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). The role also involves working with RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring that the solutions are accessible, reliable, and optimized for performance.

Technical and Soft Skills:

Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Architect, with a strong focus on scalable system development and Familiarity with Spring framework and other Java-based tools.
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Azure, Azure Dev Ops, AKS, and cloud database management (MS SQL, Azure SQL).
Security Focus: Strong experience in designing secure architectures, implementing OAuth, and integrating security measures to protect data.
API Development: Proficiency in RESTful APIs, data processing, and microservices architectures.
Database Design & Optimization: Strong experience in the design, optimization, and management of databases, preferably in a cloud environment.
Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile teams, contributing to the development process in a dynamic environment.
Dutch Language: Fluent in Dutch + English (at least C1)
