As Java Back-End Software Engineer, you will:
- Create specifications and unit tests that will verify your implementation.
- Use your IT background to create, innovate, develop, and bring your very own piece of the puzzle.
- Be part of a project team fulfilling the development and design aspects of the solution.
- Break down the features and tasks and estimate the work that it will take to finalize the features up to deployment.
- Deliver the best business value to the end customer while complying to the company’s best practices and conventions (SDLC).
- Document your solutions to communicate relationships between components, deployment units, actors in the system, collaborating classes, and sequence of operations.
- Comply with established Dev Ops practices and take ownership of this process for your assigned developments.
- Provide insight into 2nd level support for investigation and debugging.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Profile
As Java Back-End Software Engineer, you have:
- A bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Sciences.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in development.
- Good technical knowledge of Java and Spring.
- Experience in Linux and solution cloud AWS.
- You would like to work in an Agile environment.
- Fluent in English with good command in French.
- Eager to learn new programming languages/frameworks next to us.
- Ability to create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Able to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.
- Able to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data processing.
- A good problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot EDI issues.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
