Java Back-end Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities
As Java Back-End Software Engineer, you will:

Create specifications and unit tests that will verify your implementation.
Use your IT background to create, innovate, develop, and bring your very own piece of the puzzle.
Be part of a project team fulfilling the development and design aspects of the solution.
Break down the features and tasks and estimate the work that it will take to finalize the features up to deployment.
Deliver the best business value to the end customer while complying to the company’s best practices and conventions (SDLC).
Document your solutions to communicate relationships between components, deployment units, actors in the system, collaborating classes, and sequence of operations.
Comply with established Dev Ops practices and take ownership of this process for your assigned developments.
Provide insight into 2nd level support for investigation and debugging.
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.

Profile
As Java Back-End Software Engineer, you have:

A bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Sciences.
Minimum 2 years of experience in development.
Good technical knowledge of Java and Spring.
Experience in Linux and solution cloud AWS.
You would like to work in an Agile environment.

And you also are:

Fluent in English with good command in French.
Eager to learn new programming languages/frameworks next to us.
Ability to create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Able to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools quickly.
Able to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data processing.
A good problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot EDI issues.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
