The software engineer is responsible for working on customer support tools , web applications, and integrations to support our businesses and will be located in Gent, Belgium.

In this role, in a typical day you will:

• Develop and maintain robust different tools in your scrum team, making sure it meet all the functional and non-functional requirements
  
• Innovate and develop new solutions as part of a team
  
• Participate in peer code reviews
  
• Stay up to date on software technology and tools
  
• Exchange technical information with your colleagues
  
• Follow and help optimize installed processes, policies and procedures
  
• Work with other teams, UX Engineers, testers, and support people to help everybody excel in their specializations.
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or informatics or can prove comparable skills through experience.
  
• Experience in building and maintaining web applications and tools with proven knowledge in C# and the .net framework
  
• You are proficient in spoken and written English. Any other language is appreciated.
  
• You have strong analytical skills, a good focus on quality, and want to produce clean code and architectures.
  
• Experience with legacy systems is a plus.
