Microsoft Dynamics 365 Test Engineer- Brussels, Belgium

- Test Development & Execution
- Develop and maintain test scenarios and test cases in collaboration with team members (analysts, developers, UAT testers).
- Execute test cases manually and through automation tools to validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and usability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with teams to understand software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans for the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
- Participate in discussions with project leaders and developers to clarify testing needs and requirements.
- Defect Management & Regression Testing
- Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new functionalities are implemented correctly and no defects have been introduced.
- Automation & Process Improvement
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and coverage of testing processes.
- Continuously improve software testing processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality releases.
- Environment & Test Framework Management
- Ensure that all tests are executed in the appropriate environments, monitor test execution, and manage the test framework as necessary.
- Maintain test environments and manage the integrity of testing data across different stages of the development cycle.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Document test scenarios, results, and defects, providing thorough reports to the team and management.
- Write and maintain documentation for test processes, ensuring clear communication and ongoing quality assurance.
- Project & Timeline Management
- Manage testing timelines and monitor progress, ensuring that project deadlines are met.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the quality and progress of projects.
- SOAP Testing
- Conduct SOAP-based testing as a core responsibility, ensuring the proper functioning of web services and integrations within the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
- Deliverable Approval & Integrity Assurance
- Participate in the re-evaluation and approval of testing deliverables, including scenarios, plans, and automated tests, ensuring the integrity of functionalities.
- In-depth knowledge of the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement module, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Field Service.
- Experience in testing sales processes within the Dynamics 365 Sales module, including lead and opportunity management, sales forecasting, and workflows.
- Experience with customizing and configuring Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and dashboards.
- Experience testing integrations, third-party systems, and APIs.
- Familiarity with data migration processes and tools, as well as testing for data accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to test reports, dashboards, and analytics, using tools such as Power BI, SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), or Excel.
- Experience testing mobile and offline capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Proficiency in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 App for Outlook functionality.
- Knowledge of security roles, permissions, and role-based access control (RBAC) in Dynamics 365.
- Experience with performance testing, including load and stress testing.
- Experience testing upgrades, patches, and new releases, ensuring compatibility across versions.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Dynamics 365 Test Automation Suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- English: Must-have.
- French and/or Dutch: Preferred.
