Introduction:
A security architect is being sought for the Security, Privacy & Access team of our client (Atrias). Our customer is a branch of the Belgian distribution system operators. The obligation to develop information security is anchored in the company's articles of association. The company also processes large amounts of personal data and must strictly comply with privacy legislation. Our client develops and supports IT systems for the Belgian energy market (Central Market System, Pre-payment platform, etc.). These systems and services must meet strict information security requirements. The company uses the following products and technologies: Microsoft Entra; Entra ID (including Entitlement Management and Privileged Identity Management); Entra Domain Services; Microsoft Azure; Azure infrastructure services: such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Network and other Azure services; Azure Dev Ops; Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Intune.

Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• Senior experience in Cloud Security Architect (min 4 years);
• Experience with cloud technologies (Iaa S, Paa S and Saa S) and knowledge how to security monitor those infrastructures/applications;
• Experience in implementing security best practices in Dev Ops;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Azure Dev Ops;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Dev Sec Ops practices: Application Security Testing, Ia C security, pipeline security, threat modelling, vulnerability management;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure;
• Language skills: excellent in English;
• Excellent team player;
• Pro-active and responsible.

Desirable:

• Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Defender;
• Having a Microsoft Dev Ops Engineer Expert certification;
• Knowledge about Microsoft Entra ID;
• Dutch or French language;
• Knowledge about the Belgian energy industry and about the position of Atrias within that industry (to be confirmed via reference projects mentioned in the CV).

Duties/role:

• Designing and monitoring the implementation of Azure cloud security strategy and controls;
• Designing and monitoring the implementation of MS365 (access and endpoint) security, including bring your own device;
• Implementing and following up on Dev Sec Ops;
• Following up on vulnerability management;
• Following up on security incidents;
• Following up on the SOC service and defining improvements in the field of use cases and have them implemented;
• Following up of the Security Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including security reviews of changes and architecture proposals.
