We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Bouctouche, NB.
The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees safety, quality, production, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role ensures efficient operations, adherence to engineering and quality standards, and promotes a culture of process improvement and safety.
In business since 1957, Kent Homes is the largest home builder in Atlantic Canada. With our plant at 28 Chemin du Couvent, Bouctouche, New Brunswick, we have 150,000 square feet of space dedicated to building quality homes and offices year-round. We serve remote, rural and urban centers throughout Atlantic Canada and Maine, US.
Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Trade or Engineering is an asset
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in multitasking and maintaining flexibility with shifting priorities.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Supervision - Oversee and promote safety behaviors and culture, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Production Management - Actively supervise assigned sections, ensuring teams meet manufacturing plans, and adjust requirements with Team Leaders to meet production goals.
• Team Training and Development - Provide training to team members, fostering skill development and enhancing team performance.
• Process Improvement Initiatives - Support and promote process improvement projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
• Quality Assurance - Ensure products are built to engineering and quality specifications and maintain accurate daily assembly production records for performance analysis.
