Partner Communications Manager - Monobrand, Marcom Channel Greater

Every day millions of consumers around the world interact with Apple and its products in the Indirect Channel through mobile, digital and in-store experiences. The Indirect Channel plays a hugely important role for Apple, with Marcom Channel driving strategies to provide customers a thoughtful, engaging and seamless experience. The Marcom Channel team is responsible for driving all marketing communications in the Indirect Channel, delivering best in class Apple customer experience across all customer touch-points, including branded programs, merchandising strategies, and communications strategies within partners’ brick-and-mortar and online environments. This Partner Communications Manager is responsible for contributing to the overall quality of communications developed by our Monobrand partners in China. Heavy emphasis will be placed on senior relationship management to drive world-class merchandising and communications solutions in a very dynamic and fast moving environment. This person will work closely with the rest of the Channel Marcom Group to localise WW campaigns and develop surrounding programs to help drive awareness, consideration, and sales of all Apple products. This position will also work closely with the China Sales organisation to understand the business, inventory, and competitive dynamics, which, may influence our marketing communication's strategies and execution.
Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to work with Monobrand partners and the Sales organization within GC, focusing on the planning and deployment of world-class merchandising and communication programs supporting Apple’s most important products. You will ensure strong planning and execution of marketing initiatives supporting Apple’s new product introduction and seasonal campaigns along with Apple’s worldwide product merchandising priorities. You will ensure partner media and retail store marketing and merchandising opportunities are fully understood and ensure most premium positions for Apple products, merchandising, and campaigns. You will pro-actively seek out opportunities for Apple’s communication priorities to be realized in the partner space, and pitch these opportunities to partners. You will represent Apple marketing guidelines and programs and manage the day-to-day reviews and approvals of product and tactical marketing communications, ensuring proper escalations to the WW Marketing team. You will provide account dashboards and partner updates to the WW Marketing team and Geo Sales, including product launch summaries, monthly account updates, competitive updates, and any other partner specific marketing challenges and opportunities. You will ensure each partner plans and executes communications and merchandising activities in line with Apple guidelines. You will provide spend reporting and any necessary escalations as required to WW Marketing.Extensive brand/marketing communications experience ideally from leading consumer electronics or telecoms manufacturers, or affiliate marketing agencies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with and influencing at a senior level.
- Extensive retail experience within the applicable local market.
- Experience working within a global marketing organisation is a must, ideally having worked in a Geo/Field role.
- Experience working within a recognised creative/design-driven organisation is strong plus.
- Demonstrated depth of experience with integrated communications and account/client relationship management.
- A highly detail-oriented team player with proven persuasive/negotiation skills.
- A fluent English speaker with strong presentation, email, and phone abilities. The ideal candidate is self motivated and flexible, and possesses the skills required to manage multiple tasks at one time.
