Partnership Manager - Ecosystem Lending

Job Summary
To ensure SCF revenue target are achieved by maximization new acquisition opportunities and deepening existing anchor relationship.
Scope of Role
  • Leverage external and internal resources to maximize the new acquisition/referral opportunities of Anchor partnership and to deepen existing anchor relationship in terms of process efficiency and effectiveness, risk prevention and compliance operations from central level to fulfil budget and planning, MI report where applicable, subject to detail assignment, in align with SME banking strategy and revenue target.
  • To designs and develops standard anchor relationship agreements with standardized terms and conditions.
  • To undertake analysis of industry feasible study and identify business opportunities, to promote the value and results from utilizing predictive and advanced analytics for further business decision making.
  • Deep dive the local markets status in terms of size, share, structure, potential, customer segmentation, buyer behavior and competitor analysis.
  • Closely monitor industry trends and marketplace developments to offer more analytic support.
  • To work closely with SME banking frontline teams and respective stakeholders on industrial scenario financing program design and implementation.
  • To constantly operate within the compliance’s guidelines set by group standard and/or local regulations.
  • Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.
  • Fully understand the importance of fraud prevention, prevent fraud risks, maintain safe and steady operation of the position, implement regulatory requirements of fraud prevention, strictly execute DOIs of the department, ensure to complete relevant trainings and embed fraud prevention in daily work.”

Other Responsibilities

  • Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies.
  • Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities.
  • Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank.
  • Be responsible for failure to follow relevant rules and processes, failure to properly perform the responsibilities, and implement corrections.
  • Cooperate with any investigations or reviews on regulatory failure such as accountability review.
  • Properly perform the duties on management and ensure the effectiveness of internal control.
  • Be responsible for regulatory failure or risks arising from or in connection of the event over which the employee has the duties of management and/or leadership.
  • Be responsible for significant losses due to failure of effectiveness of internal control.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • University degree in Finance or related discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of similar frontline experience in SME / Commercial Banking with other banks in China.
  • Knowledge of trade finance products, treasury and transaction management, supply chain finance management, and industrial financing preferred.
  • Strong business understanding, credit risk analysis and financial knowledge.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and partnership management experience.
  • Experience in project management, Business Analytics and strategic Sourcing.
  • Good marketing, communication, and interpersonal skill preferred.
  • Willing to work under pressure.
  • Proactive, positive attitude, customer oriented, self-motivated & a strong champion of teamwork spirit
  • Good command in written English preferred.
