Responsibilities:
- Develop new and grow existing carrier relationships (lead generation, cold calling, and referrals).
- Receive and post loads on loadboard (Ex: Truck Stop, DAT, etc)
- Build strong and long-lasting relationships with trucking company’s key contacts (i.e., owner operators, dispatchers and drivers).
- Negotiate prices, drive processes and improve efficiency.
- Identify issues and work cross-functionally to determine and implement the best cost saving solution.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with carriers to secure truck capacity and manage existing business agreements.
- Provide exceptional service to carriers and customers.
- Facilitate seamless coordination between shippers, receivers, and carriers to guarantee efficient merchandise transfer.
- Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system.
- Support the sales department with timely SPOT quotations, transit times and availability.
- Resolve ad hoc logistics issues.
- 3-5 years experience as a Carrier Sales
- English level C1 or above
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify gaps in skills.
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches.
- Excellent organizational skills
