Smith + Nephew is looking for someone with Workday configuration experience who is independently driven to solve complex problems. Our team is a fun global group working in all areas of HR in a supportive space.
What will you be doing?

Responsible for the day-to-day support, triage, training and systems administration activities across the HR Technology platforms.
-
This position will also be responsible for gathering new requirements and documenting problems on behalf of end users and customers. Regular meetings with HR and the business will develop a strong feedback platform and this position is responsible for feeding that information into HRIS on a regular basis so that we can address customer needs and continuously improve the HR system. On occasion this role might also team up with Process Excellent to run workshops and drive improvement efforts

Investigate situations to diagnose underlying causes, look to resolve issues, implement known solutions and apply/advise on new features, changes in procedures and workarounds that assist recovery.

Identify opportunities to continuously improve quality and performance in all aspects across the suite of HR Technology applications

Ensure change management and communication plans are in place and in line with business need.

Provide visibility and training to Global Business Services and HR communities on new Projects and systematic changes.

Ensure the HR model is leveraged and simplify activity with Global Business Services, providing the necessary learning to enhance the customer experience and query solution with your alignment with GBS Service Centers.

Provide guidance and advice to line managers relating to the organizational data management aspects of organizational change to ensure accuracy of organizational data.

Provide high quality, consistent advice, support and resolution to HR teams, managers and Global Business Services Teams in order to maximize customer efficiency, effectiveness and confidence.

Build effective networks and work in partnership with HR colleagues and managers to ensure that issues identified and solutions provided.

Produce and maintain “How To Guides” in relation to application processes and deliver training to all levels of the Global Business Services Team as well as the HR team on a monthly basis.

Work both individually and as a Team to identify opportunity for improvement.

Manage periodic organizational data cleansing exercises in conjunction with the business and the HR Business Partner.

Manage the timely and accurate mass uploads (EIB) of data onto the HR systems.

Support the testing of any new releases to the suite HR Technology applications

Contribute to the design, release activities and maintenance of HR technologies with the HRIS portfolio.

Support all system related annual projects, systems enhancements and ongoing business as usual development is managed to successful completion against agreed objectives and timescales

Write UAT test scripts and co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing

Identify and implement performance improvements to end to end processing to ensure the delivery of HR Technology Support is efficient and continuously improving.

Act as a champion for customer focus and listen to and communicate with customers and stakeholders effectively; ensuring that procedures and systems are in place to inform and receive feedback from service users, partners, stakeholders and colleagues, and evaluating that feedback, taking appropriate action to secure continuous improvement.
What will you need to be successful?
Education:
-
High School Bachelor´s Degree (minimum degree required).
-
English Level B2+ (minimum required).
-
Degree in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:
-
This role will require Workday functional knowledge and being involved in multiple Global projects / implementations across the business Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Human Resources or relevant subject) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Demonstrable experience of dealing with and prioritizing high volumes of requests while managing project activity according to timelines
-
Intermediate knowledge of Workday, HR cloud-based systems, their data structures and security
-
Detailed understanding of the application of Workday and other HR systems including workflow and case management and its reporting capabilities
-
Good understanding of business analysis and work change execution including but not limited to change management communication and training material
-
Demonstrable experience of working in a project environment to tight deadlines & against project plans
-
Good working understanding and experience of implementing and supporting HR IT cloud-based systems and experience of integrating processes

Knowledge of HR Technology, vendors, and implementation across multiple markets
-
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and the ways global companies manage and share data to operate global HR processes/programs to meet business needs.

Communication and Collaboration – Good written and verbal communication with exposure to working with stakeholders. Communicate and influence, working effectively as part of a team. English speaking- Bilingual is a plus!

Service Improvement – Ability to deliver against performance indicators for services and proactively improve performance. Good understanding and experience of implementing quality and process improvement methodologies.
