Role and Responsibilities of an Aerospace Project Manager:
Aerospace Project Manager has a vital responsibility to oversee the successful execution of aerospace projects:

• Project Planning and Scope Definition: Developing comprehensive project plans and defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Resource Allocation and Budget Management: Efficiently allocating resources, including manpower and budget, to meet project goals.
• Risk Management and Mitigation: Identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them during project execution.
• Schedule Monitoring and Milestone Achievement: Monitoring project schedules and ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and fostering collaboration among project teams.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years’ experience in Program Management or related project management type position.
• Knowledge: Expert in Program Management philosophies and processes. Possess sufficient technical aptitude to understand design and production processes related to aeronautical products.
• Skills/Abilities: Excellent Leadership Skills, Results Focus, Customer Service Orientation, Action Orientation, Planning & Organizing, Teamwork & Cooperation, Business Acumen, Decision-Making Skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other PC based office tools.
• Education/Certification: BS degree required. Preferred in Engineering or technical discipline.
• Language: English (Advanced), other EU language (advantage)
• Travel: up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some experience in a technical field preferred, preferably aerospace
• MBA or comparable advanced management degree
• Formal certification/training in Program and/or Systems Management (PMI or equivalent)
• Experience in engineering product development and certification processes.
• Experience in Aerospace product development and certification processes.
