For this role, you will be expected to be located in Czech Republic or Poland.

• Researching websites/contacting vendors to gather technical information and prices on supplies and equipment.
• Obtaining and reviewing competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors and contractors; discussing evaluations and reviewing with requesters and subject matter experts.
• Assisting the helpdesk in updating and maintaining inventories for all IT equipment and supplies including location, asset tag number, serial number, make and model of equipment.
• Creating, processing and managing annual PO’s for hardware, software and services
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors.
• Actioning all applicable tickets and tasks in Service Now.
• Working on knowledge base and process improvements connected to procurement tasks.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar position or 2 + years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience of supporting Microsoft Windows/other Microsoft products, web-based applications, Zoom/Webex/Teams, and the Service Now ITSM tool.
• Fluency in English.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
