A Day in the Life

As a Quantitative Pricing Analyst, you will significantly contribute to the adoption of AI functionalities, bringing technical expertise and its application to pricing dynamics. You will be at the center of the implementation and maintenance of our Vendavo Deal Price Optimization (DPO) module, a key component of our evolving pricing strategy.

This position requires excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of pricing strategies, and the ability to translate business concepts into technical requirements.
For this role, you are required to work from Prague office 2 days a week, the rest is work from home. Medtronic does not cover the cost of relocation to Prague, Czech Republic.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Configuring and calibrating the DPO module by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer behaviour, ensuring that pricing models align with our business objectives
• Supporting the sales and quoting processes by fine-tuning the module’s outcomes and providing detailed explanations of pricing recommendations
• Monitoring performance metrics such as deal margins, win rates, and pricing guidance adoption, making the necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and effectiveness
• Ensuring data integrity and identifying performance opportunities
• Reporting on the DPO module’s adoption, performance, and compliance with pricing governance
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand market dynamics and business strategies and to translate them into model refinements, continuously optimizing the system

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Team player with curiosity, proactivity, and passion for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analysis
• Three + years of experience in an international company in an analytical role
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in a data analysis tool, such as Python, Excel, SQL or Power BI
• Understanding of Pricing strategy and Commercial contracting concepts and processes
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, listen and translate complex concepts
• • Bachelor’s degree

Familiarity with Med Tech industry trends and having prior experience in the application of Machine learning to Pricing or sales analytics are nice to haves for this role.
