Responsible for Master Data Activities in VTBA globally - delivering good service on time
Purpose of the role is to execute tasks in SAP R3/CRM system. Creation/Maintenance/Support for business globally (US, EU, Asia) across whole VTBA area (Ed SAP & partially in Ley SAP as well). Manage Data Management's processes to ensure that all SAP master data are maintained in accordance with the correct operating procedures.
Focus is also on automation and continuous improvement. Part of the job is seeking for opportunities to improve.

Main responsibilites:

• Manage delivery of the Global Data Management Team in Multiple SAP modules
• Keep master data documentation up to date
• Ensure SAP master data are recorded into the systems accurately and on a timely basis, in accordance with VTBA policies and procedures and agreed SLAs.
• Offer proactive as well as reactive advice to the business on data quality and the importance of adhering to data management related procedures.
• Ensure that users required to contribute to data creation and accuracy, e.g. Sales Managers and Product Engineers, are kept fully informed of their data responsibilities and what is required of them and when.
• Communicate effectively with internal functions within VTBA: Product Companies, Customer Centres and central functions Finance, Engineering, Marketing, or IM departments.
• Ensure queries received are investigated, resolved, and responded to accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with Edwards policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the other FSC teams to continuously develop and improve the efficiencies of related processes and the service provided to business users and suppliers.
• Keep developing technical knowledge and maintain current database and tables.
• Follow other instructions given by Team Leader or Senior Team Member

• Keeps his working place and equipment in order and in the line with the 5S system principles

What do you need for this role:

• Advanced level of Microsoft Office (excel/word/outlook)
• Basic SAP or ERP knowledge (both user and technical knowledge)
• Understanding of basic SQL queries (SELECT, CASE, JOINS...)
• Understanding of Database SQL queries is an advantage (CREATE TABLE/VIEW/USER, GRANT authorizations)
• Advanced English
• Basic IS and Financial knowledge
• Ability to understand business processes
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and tasks
• A good standard of education with ERP experience
• Ability to work co-operatively with commercial and manufacturing management
• Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate confidence, authority, and credibility at all levels of the organization.
• Basic understanding of the structure of data used in SAP configuration as well as awareness of the effect's changes may have.
• Ability to sense-check data being processed
• High level of accuracy
