Director of Software Architecture

We are seeking a Software Architecture Director who empowers team members to do their best while holding them to a higher standard of growth, accomplishment, and results. While bringing industry standards and best practices to a development engineering team, your duties will cover the following:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as architecture leader across engineering and product leadership group
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and innovation; maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, work with team to continually assess impact of new technologies and roadmaps against strategic business needs
- Drive the technology roadmap across our portfolio in conjunction with product management to ensure our delivery of business objectives
- Partner with Engineering leadership to establish strong and shared architectural practices, deconflict standards across varies cloud infrastructures and development frameworks
- Evolve the technical architecture to utilize the latest/progressive cloud, Saa S, mobile, analytics/AI technologies and tools in support of a diverse and evolving product suite
- Develops policies and procedures to design efficient and scalable software architecture
- Proven success evaluating technologies as part of diligence activities
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of software architecture leadership experience
- Significant depth in software development in a fast-paced, growing Saa S company, including having been a part of multiple cloud and hybrid deployment products
- Experience and understanding of modern cloud architectures, patterns, development processes and tools, and driving strategic architecture efforts
- Must have a track record of success in job performance and progression and the proven ability to both build credibility with the senior management team and motivate teams
- A mix of large and small/mid-market company experience would be preferable
